I think it depends on how regularly you are active now? I wasn't really training and had only been working out a couple days a week when I did WD in July, but I wasn't sore at all and would have been fine going for a hike the next day.
I think it also depends on how hard you push yourself through the course. We finished in 55 minutes - and there was a lot of walking because we had vowed that the 4 of us would finish together and one of us was really struggling after not getting much sleep the night before. But if you are fairly active now, I think you could do it!
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
