I find that when I am veering off track-which I have been doing lately-I will start with one small choice that is good. Drinking water over Coke, parking farther away at the grocery store, walking the dog a little longer, eating a good meal, getting on SP and reading motivational stories. Try one of those and see if you don't start to feel better about your journey.

I have been eating everything in sight for 3 weeks with, no surprise, gain as a result. I cannot seem to stop! I am too tired, too uninspired to start doing what I know to do....ACK!

I wish I could help. Please contact your doctor and describe what's going on. There may be other meds you could take that wouldn't have the same side effects. Do your best to eat healthy but don't sweat the small stuff.

Can you talk to the doc about adjusting the meds? Perhaps one has too much, another not enough or....I hate that super lightheaded feeling!

As you deal with those very real life issues, cut yourself some slack on the SP stuff. Notice I did not say "give yourself a pass", because you want to continue eating right, drinking water and exercising (as long as you can do so safely).

I have been off of sp for a couple of weeks now. I just can't seem to get motivated to exercise and I'm eating everything in sight. I have started new meds to get my head right, but I am having a tough time and I feel like I have no support. I have been having night mares and they are not letting me sleep even with medications. The one pill that did help made my blood pressure so low that I almost passed out every morning when I'd try and get up. I know that someone here will help me but who?
