I'm sorry that I upset some of you. I got a lot of "thank God someone said that" kind of emails on my page so I didn't upset all of you. I'm happy to take off my leader hat if that's what you all want, let me know. I love A course in weight loss and will continue on with it either way. sorry you havent been well,but thanks so much for what you have to say,i have said the same elsewhere i dont like the idea of people doing what they are not ready for or not happy with .i have also said that i forget to log exercise,but i do it but to feel mobile and fitter not to top a list.we need to do what we do for ourselves for our own reasons

I am at the end of Chapter 2 getting ready to write the letters today. I may post them on my blog. This has been a very rough week for me as our family has had food poisoning, followed by colds, which for me turned into asthma. The plus is I've lost a pound and a half because it's hard to eat when you can't breathe. Anyway, not to make excuses for why I haven't been exercising, but until last week I was averaging about 125 minutes a week. Also, I don't think everyone uses the fitness tracker, so we shouldn't assume that people aren't exercising just because they're not posting their minutes. Finally, this is supposed to be a safe supportive environment and I don't think :"yelling" at people is going to encourage them to come on the board and feel comfortable discussing.

I think this team needs a wake up call. I was gone most of last week with a family emergency and I still got most exercise minutes for the team. I only worked out on Sunday, Monday and maybe Tuesday. Come on everyone. God gave you a brain to use the information that he sends. Please move your bodies if you ever expect to make something happen. It's great to work on emotional blocks but you still have to move. There is an old story that goes something like this. A monk was working very hard to learn how to walk on water. Every day he prayed to be able to walk across the water to the mainland to visit his family. Every afternoon as the sun was sitting a boat would come by and the fisherman would ask the monk if he wanted a ride. Nope, the monk was steadfast in insisting that he learn to walk on water. He prayed, he fasted, he meditated...still nothing. At the end of his life just as he was breathing his last breath, Jesus appeared to him and the Monk asked "Jesus, I prayed, I fasted, I meditated every day but still I wasn't able to obtain my goal of walking on water...Why???" Jesus answered...I sent you a boat. Please people move your bodies and work on past issues. If you want to be angry about this post...fire away. We all need a boat to take us across the water and we have it here on Spark People. There are hundreds of ways to lose weight and inches. Make it happen. I'm going to post this as a new subject as well so everyone can see it.
