Back on the diet-wagon but hard to hold on. Have not been able to do strenuous weight exercises or upper body aerobics due to a shoulder injury, Feb. I hurt my lower back and the beginning of Mar. I got a bad cold. I have managed to drop 21 lbs. since Jan 1st. despite not being able to get in some aggressive exercise. Lately my exercise is getting ready for Spring gardening. The grass is growing so fast it needs mowing once or twice a week. I guess that will teach me to fertilize!
I am excited for May it is my annual 6000+ mile motorcycle road-trip
. Riding burns 2.8 Cal/Min and will burn at least 480 Cal/day which equates to 8 hrs moving time in the saddle. Takes about 14 hours and 700 miles to acquire those golden 480 Cal. I generally lose around 8 to 10 lbs by the time the trip is completed.
