I will give this challenge a try. My goal is to walk 500,000 steps as per my fitbit in the next 63 days and to log my food at least 55 of the next 60 days. I actually log my food on a different site but I will count that.

Good evening everyone and Happy Saturday 10/27/12
It is Saturday, and I went grocery shopping for califlower and the like and even purchased a food processor by black and decker. This weekend I am going to make pizza from califlower. I am so excited as I continue my NEW journey of making healthier choices.
Thus far in these past 7 days I have given up bread and replaced it with lettuce. :) And on the weekends, I go pick up a large pizza for myself at the pizza place but instead I went online to look for healthier substitutes and found one. It is making a pie crust out of cauliflower. I was amazed.

Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday 10/23/12
yawning, woke up late this morning but thats okay :)
Last night I had the urge for a hamburger that is cooked on a barbegue grill, so I drove to a hamburger place at 1am and ordered me a hamburger with cheese, lettuce, onions and tomato with NO BUN and I got it home and it was wrapped up so pretty and was absolutely delicious, yeh!!!!!
I am so happy that I was able to endulge in a craving and STILL stay on point, wow!
I mean it is day 4 and I am still ON plan with no cheats and that my friends IS a miracle! It is making me feel like I can actually COMPLETE this 72 day challenge, yeh!!!

10/22/12 = Monday, it will be only 70 days left until 2013 10/21/12 = Sunday, it will be only 71 days left until 2013. 10/20/12 = Sat. Did you know that we only have 72 days left until 2013?
Today is day 3 of the Challenge and I am getting a bit nervous inside. why? Because I do not have a good track record of sticking to something and I think that I am going to fail again ... but somehow this is 'different' and I am pleased about that... just a lil nervous is all.

breakfast: eggs, sausage, bacon bits, cooked in butter onions and green peppers and real bacon bits water
snack: 1pm 2 oz of cream cheese and pork skins
snack: 3pm cream cheese and pork skins
snack: 7pm 2 handfuls of green grapes
***** I call small tiny meals "snacks" because it is so small. I am not used to eating small but day two on my journey, I do not find a need to stuff myself until oblivion any more. So i really like the small meals too.

Wow, it is 72 days until 2013...... where did the time go?
TIME stands still for no one.
so... I have to ask: HOW are you going to spend these last few 72 days left?
Will you just goof off and think: I will start on Jan 1st?
Will you plan today, right now, this very moment to do something specktacular in these remaining 72 days until 2013 flourishes a new dawn?
My answer: I choose the later one.
To take the bull by the horns with NO excuses, NO delays and make a change.
How will I accomplish this?
By counting back-wards, so I will "see" how many days to the finish line It makes it fun to set short goals and see where you are headed and that is what I will do...
am I nervous about it? yes as I am not usually a person who sticks around a plan for more than a week but this time will be different....
why? Because knowledge IS power

what inspired me?
lately in these past few days I have been reading an article from the NEW YORK TIMES. Yes I said days... to read one article... because the man talked a lot! and because it was really interesting reading:
Do you know what this feels like? It feels like the day after Thanksgiving and we are standing in front of the stores in an internal panice realizing we only have a few more hours until they open the doors and thinking to ourselves: OPEN, OPEN, OPEN! so we can HURRY and catch all the sales in that small, tiny, time period. LOL
So everyone, there is ONLY 72 days left.... whatcha gonna do?
Make a decision.
please whatever you do, make a conscious decision and take responsibility of what you are going to do with these remaining 72 days starting today!
Make a decision! Work it girlfriend!
The choice is up to you what to do with your time..
