I have actually done really well on the cardio this month. I wear a fitbit and I have walked over 11,000 steps every day of the month. I did my monthly weigh in today, however, and I have only lost 1 pound this month. At this rate I will be working the rest of my life to drop these pounds. emoticon

I managed to fit in some cardio today @ gym along with the craziness of the day, although ate like an idiot!!!!!!!!!ugh!!!!!!!!!!!i'm so frustrated with myself!!!!!!!! emoticon I am going to take 2 days off of work to organize and clean out my home so hopefully I will feel better about myself after that!!!!!!!

We are going on our second big blizzard in less than a week. Our school has been closed for an unprecedented 4 days for snow. My office is closed but as the boss I felt a need to come in and get some work done anyway. On the up side, I haven't been able to get to the store for any junk food.

I had a good, clean eating weekend but still no poundage off at the scale. I am a bit annoyed that my DH has the day off for President's Day but I have to work. I will be on the road for work two days this week which always presents a bit of a challenge but one I am ready for.

I have been away from my office most of this week. I got my fitness time in while I was conferenceing but I struggled with food. Yesterday was clean so I think I am back on track.

Still here trudging along day by day. I lost 3 pounds in January but they were retreads that I have lost and gained before. At this rate it will be June before I am dropping any new pounds.

Glad you are on un upswing healthwise. I am impressed that you are doing the INSANITY workouts. I tried them once and found them INSANE. I lasted about 30 seconds. Hang in there.

Once again gluttony reared its ugly head on my weekend. I did well Friday and Sunday but I attended grandson's birthday party Saturday and I chose to go back for seconds on dinner and despite my best intentions I ate my whole piece of chocolate cake with decadent peanut butter frosting for a one meal total of over 1200 calories or 2000 for the day. On the positive side however, I walked 74,432 steps or about 32 miles this week and my average daily calorie consumption was 1369 well within my 1200-1500 range. I am not officially weighing in until 2/1 but I think I am down about 2 pounds for the month.

I have had a successful week, no weigh in, but within my calorie ranges and abouve my workout goals. Today I am headed to a birthday party for one of my grandchildren then I will have other children and grandchildren for the weekend. Lots of temptations in store.

I forgot and left my fitit at home yesterday. I haven't had a fitness rest day yet this year so I chose to make yesterday a "rest" day. I am going to have to make up for it the rest of the week to make my "steps" goals.

Joined SparkCoach yesterday. Will see what that's all about.

I opted out of SparkCoach. Of course the week that I join I end up not getting online a couple of days. Even though I did go back & track my nutrition and fitness it didn't count for Sparkcoach since the actual day had passed. I didn't find it any more advantageous than using regular SparkPeople.

I decided to try something different this week so this morning I averaged my calorie consumption for the week. My average was 1445, last weeks average was 1278. The 1445 is still within my weight loss range but barely so I am going to try to get my average below 1400 this week. I did up my average fitness minutes so all in all it was a good week. I only officially weigh on time per month because my weight loss is so slow. Unofficially it looks like I am probably down 1.5 pounds this month so far.

I didn't plan for a cheat day but it was date night and I didn't make the healthiest choices at dinner. I ended the day with 2000 calories but at least I got in my 11,000 steps. Hoping for a more successful day today.

Today was a rest day.
In my search for soft foods and with apples and carrots going bad, I baked/roasted them both in the oven. Very tasty.
