I can't wait till I can get some eggplants out of the garden. The supermarket never seems to have firm eggplants.

AT the farmer's market this weekend I was able to buy romaine lettuce, spinach, zuchinni, yellow squash, onions, and green peppers. I can't wait for the tomatos and melons!

I wish I had some generous neighbors. Everyone basically has just a small green house around here so everyone could always use a little more rather than having anything to give away

I have never actually managed to grow anything I could eat. I get my fresh produce from generous neighbors and the farmer's market.

I love my bell peppers and eggplant from my garden. The ones I buy at the store don't taste nearly as good. And cukes too - those are always better home grown.

I don't have much going on in my garden, but there is a lovely fruit stand just a couple of miles from my house, so I will be shopping there regularly.

Looks like tomatoes are the winner because that is what I'm looking forward to as well. I'm also looking forward to lots of lettuce coming up for some great salads. The quality of lettuce at the store here is not very good but my family loves salad so we should be able to have lots of them later this summer when it comes up in the garden.
