Had a good week overall thouh it started out slow. Many hours in the car. Did manage t lose a pound this week. So I am feeling good about that and next week I should be home more so will get in more exercise. Hopefully the momentum is now back in the losing direction.
Thanks Duffy for your helpful comments. I have not lost sight of the accomplishments I have made over the past year. Some of the recent problems may because of not feeling up to par, plus being a diabetic may be playing games with my system. Good luck to all.

Hi everybody! I had an okay week... didn't workout as hard as the first week, but was on target with my 'calories in'. Calories out could have been better... only lost a pound and my goal is two a week.
Chuck- I think part of the problem is that you're pretty darn close to your goal weight. I know you want to lose another 26 pounds, but keep in mind you've lost 61 pounds and with all the exercising that you're doing I'm sure you've increased your muscle mass and of course we know that muscle weighs more than fat. How do you feel? Listen to your body!
I seem to be working my tail off and getting nowhere fast. I have been on a plateau for so long it is getting disconcerting and discouraging. I run a 5K 3X/week, ride the recumbent bike 2 to 3 time/week I burn an average of 1000+ calories/day this week and stay within my calorie range. I need to do some serious studying to find out what the causes are for not dropping at least 1 lb/week. The formulas for calculating Calories in vs calories out are not working at this time. I have said consistency is the key and I will continue with consistency. This plateau has to break sometimes.
Hi Teammates! This week is going well for me. i sort of fizzled out at the end of last week, but am going strong this week. I'm keeping to the low end of the calories And getting miles on on my stationary bike. I am using the ball fitness videos on this site for my strength training. I find them just right for my abilities and slow enough to protect my sore joints. The result is that I FEEL better, have more energy and less joint pain!
Doing ok but it really helps me to be accountable with my teams. I need to increase my fitness mins, harder in the winter when I don't walk so much or get out for runs. So going for more strength training and tracking food looking at more than calorie intake which is interesting and helpful. Getting a bit water logged but managing my 8 a day

I feel good about Week Two as well! I'm really limited to using my elliptical this time of year with the snow on the ground, etc. I don't belong to a gym and I'm just 'spastic' at doing exercise DVD's. However, I've been increasing my resistance on the elliptical to burn more calories and attempting DVD's. Food is under control as I am back to being diligent about measuring and portion control and TRACKING EVERYTHING!
I am doing good. I finally started exercising again yesterday and it feels great. I have my eating pretty much under control. This is the easiest day I had so far since the new year begun and that is really surprising since I am on my cycle. I only said I was doing good because great I am not yet. I must start riding my bike again and doing some aerobics. How are you doing?
