Thanks everyone, I lost so much so fast, then I almost stopped eating all together, sometimes at the end of the day I realized I had only eaten my morning yogurt! And I noticed my weight loss came to a halt, so I'm trying to get back on track! I have a cruise in June!!
I agree also. The food is very nutritious but calorie intake is lower that you need to try to just eat the food. Just think of it as that you need to feed your cells instead of your mind/emotions ect. If that makes any sense.
I have always been a pretty clean eater ( other than this last year to reasons I wont go into now ) but i also ways try to think of my body as a temple and that I want to keep it healthy and strong and clean.

CINNAMARIE is right. By all means, there IS a difference in the food we are eating!! That's why I like to refer to it as strengthening our "resist" muscles vs. our "give in" muscles. Our cravings and "hunger for more more more" REALLY do pass when we don't give in. Your body is likely quite satisfied with the wonderful nourishment you are providing it! Even processed foods with MSG are designed to make you want MORE!!
Your concern is valid though, which is why the book suggrests the cycles. We are slowly adding in more food options/calories, which is fantastic for the metabolism I always encourage moving to the next cycle, and adding the recommended foods, for that purpose. Remember that C2 rotates days (C1/C2) also, this might help you appreciate the oatmeal/healthy carbs when you do get to have them.
Of course there will be a day or two when you don't eat your 2nd fruit, or 2nd carb on a C2 day, but that shouldn't be the norm. Try to stick to the plan, and your body and metabolism will thank you!!
This is the first January in 15+ years that I haven't had the same 20 pounds to lose!! And it's because this plan sets us up for maintenance victory!!!!!!!!!

The food is so nutritious that I do sometimes feel that way, too... It's so different from eating tons of foods that aren't nutritious at all and always feeling hungry to eating a bit of something that is full of nutrition and it filling you up! I do force it down though... as I know that we aren't getting in the most calories... and I do exercise, so I want to know that I'm fueling my body for that. Good luck... eat. I think you really should get the food in.
So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!

I feel like I'm not eating enough! I couldn't have said that 3 weeks ago!! I'm C2D2 and I just don't feel like eating!! I don't really get hungry, and almost have to force the recommended foods, like the yogurt and fruit. I don't want to get my body into starvation mode so that it holds on the the weight. Has anyone else felt like this?
