That's one of the reasons why I only get on the scale on the first day and the last day of each cycle (well, technically that would just be the first day each time huh?) I hate the scale and it hates me so emotionally we are both better off if I just stay away and go by how my clothes fit and how I feel

You don't need to have the scale tell you what is going on. It is hard NOT to use that as motivation but keep going. Day by day is not what counts. Most of the time you will find that there is only a difference at the end of the week. However you could be doing what all of us do and that is fluctuate because of where we are in our body cycle. I can change in a day up or down 1kilo (2.4lb) just because of fluid retention on a hot day. The other point is you are exercising and that can firm up those muscles and make you look and feel trimmer in your clothes. Listen to your body. Are you feeling more alert and more energetic? That is what this life style diet is doing. Keep going. We have all had those days when we think Whaaat? Then we suck it in and realise this is not just 17 days this is my life and a healthier better life at that.
You are doing great! Sometimes your body kinda takes a break. When it is time the weight will drop off again.

Hi!! Try to remember that your body is in the process of healing itself and it really does know what it's doing. If you are doing everything prescribed, your body is doing what it needs to in order to heal.
How do your clothes feel? What's your energy level like? I'll bet you are losing what you need to and the scale just hasn't caught up yet. The scale, btw, is the least accurate of our measures, so don't. let it mess with your head!!!

Don't get frustrated... where else can you be down 10 lbs in 2 weeks? Keep on... you are coming into Cycle 2 when you jump your metabolism... either way you still have 3 days on the cycle... keep up with it... get your water in. 10 lbs is great!
Bottom line is... you quit, where will you be? SMILE! You are a thinner you! Go easy on yourself and rejoice! :-) You are where you need to be! If I'd be anywhere else? I'd surely not be sportin' my new 123.5 lighter frame... sooooo, really? 10 lbs in 14 days? Trust me, hon, it DOES add up... I'm livin' proof!
So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!

I'm in C1D14. On day 9 I was down 10lbs. Now on day 14, I'm still down 10!! Wwaaahhh!!! Why did the scale stop moving!?! I'm going to get frustrated. Haven't cheated once. I do 30 minutes on the treadmill daily. What's going on???
