No victims. Quit blaming others. Those two thoughts have changed my life in so many areas. Now I notice how people do lean towards being victims. Honestly, it really irritates me in others but then I notice how easy it is for me to look for someone to blame till I remind myself. This is a good reminder for all of us in a lot of areas - not just with eating.

Saralee,

I am in the middle of reading this book......it is by far the BEST thing I have ever read about dieting. It is about mindset, and this is where it all starts! I wish I had read this book 10 years ago. Once you have the right mindset, everything else makes sense. Steve Siebold goes really deep and he does not hold back. I encourage everyone toget and read this outstanding book and do the action steps at the end of each chapter.

Thank you Saralee for sharing this quote today!

"Success seems to be connected with ACTION. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit." -Conrad Hilton

"Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out." R. Collier

"The single most powerful belief you can acquire in the mental toughness process is the one that says 'You are responsible for your success in the weight loss and maintenance process.' As a matter of fact, all of us are responsible for our entire lives. The average person chooses to play the victim. Decide that you are the problem and that you are the solution, and you will feel the change take place. Suddenly, there is no one to blame. This is the #1 trait of the world class. Adopt it and program it into your belief system, and watch things begin to change for the better!"
