WOW! That's cool - well, at least it would be cool if I HAD canning jars! Haha. Sounds a bit like my NutriBullet. I use it every day. SO easy to clean and I drink right out of the "filly part". (Official term).

Another thing I learned a couple months ago is that a canning jar will fit your blender. I use a pint size one, put in my ingredients, screw on the blade part and turn it upside down and blend. Then I drink out of the same jar I used to blend the smoothie in.

A REAL easy way to clean your blender after you've poured your smoothie out is to fill it part way with water and blend away!!!! It loosens up any of the seeds from the berries and is much easier to clean emoticon

So I finally had a chance to make a smoothie this morning and it turned out great. All it had was a plain yogurt, mixed frozen berries, water and ice. I kept having to add more water because it was to thick but finally got it right. After it was done mixing I tasted it and it was just ok but needed something so I added a packet of Splenda and that worked. I know Truvia would have been better but I have so much Splenda in the house that we are trying to use before switching over – too wasteful to throw it out. So thank you for the smoothie help. I will do this once in awhile (I hate cleaning the blender) :)

I just made this one:
1 1/2 cups green tea (brewed strong--6 tea bags)
2 cups frozen mixed berries
Stevia to taste (recipe called for honey), I added 2 packs

Blend, enjoy.

I also added a handful of ice.

I used this one when i had my teeth pulled. If you are using this as a meal. Gives you protein,fruit, probiotic.

1 scoop whey protien powder
1 cup frozen or fresh berries
1- 6 oz. yogurt or 1/2 cup
1/2 cup ice
1/4 cup water
blend well with blender

I am restarting 17DD again on Saturday. I had a really bad month and gain alot after all the holiday junk. Need to get back on track. We leave for vacation mid Feb and i can through C1 and C2 before we leave.

I never made smoothie when i did the diet in the past. Does anyone have a good recipe i can use. Thanks!!!
