Lady at 5'11 and hippy I sure know what you mean about pants.... Even when I was skinny I always had the 'gap' problem in the back. They don't make them for true hourglass figures. I've always said 'These hips were made for skirts'. I have to buy pants about 2 sizes too big for work, non-elastic waist, so they can hang where they are long enough. I could write the book on this but it would bore you all...
But GO YOU!!! for being almost there :) You are truly an inspiration.
Still can't bring myself to go through the racks of pants. I'm a hard fit... I'm tall and have a waist. Pants have always been a hard fit... I often have them hang off my waist in the back... I need them to cinch in... plus, the whole thought of them being used. I know, some aren't... or some are hardly used... heck, I even donate to goodwill and salvo's myself. It's a mental thing. Plus, I hate shopping... always have. I don't like getting undressed and dressed and undressed and dressed... It's exhausting.
Anyway, shirts are just so much easier and at 1.99 a top, well, I can buy it and even if it doesn't work out... it's not a bit deal! LOL
So, as you can guess, I bought tops. I bought several ones with tags! Even better! I bought 5 "at goal" tops that I won't even touch til I'm at goal... I have been doing that this entire process, it seems to get me excited about staying on track as I can't wait to fit into them. They are all sleeveless (I like wearing them under things at the office or on weekends)... they are so cute... and then I bought 5 short sleeved ones that are fitted and in large/xlarge and they are tight now, but should fit me soon. They may even still fit me at goal, which is pretty cool... they are stretchy, so may be fitting me into goal and I can then just keep them in my wardrobe... even better. They would be work tops, so that is always nice... a bit dressier.
I can NOT wait to get into them, and these will be the ones you'll see in new pics, as I post new ones on my spark page as I hit new goals.
So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!
