Maintaining and good with that!
I have to admit to weighing in a few times a week. For me, it totally keeps me accountable. I had a few cheats this week (Thai Drunken Noodles on Tuesday with a cupcake and on Friday late night, a half order of nachos)... The other things I had, really weren't cheats, but they were added carbs which I try to have only in the first part of the week, but this past week had towards the end.
I kept the exercise up, but didn't do the volume that I tried the week prior.
It's all a journey... I've definitely got a handle on my weight now... I keep an eye on it... I work out extra if I feel that I was bad. I amp up the veggies and water after high sodium days, etc.
My wonderful husband lost 4.5 lbs this week, so he's on track... with a total of 67.5 lbs lost! I'm so proud of him! Really, I know there are ALOT of you with hubby's out there that just can't get into the diet thing or even the healthy thing... and he was one of them! So, it's HUGE what he's doing right now and even that keeps me more on track with my journey.
I know that this week, this maintaining will stay on my mind (not punishing myself, just ultra aware)... so I feel this will be a good week for me... I know I'll report a weight loss next week!
It feels great to have this much control over my own body!! FINALLY! It feels awesome!
So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!
