RMLUNDE, it's hard not to see big results when you work so hard, huh? Just remember that 2.9 lbs in that amount of time is not bad at all. It's just that we are used to seeing some pretty big numbers!! I feel a bit down when I see the lower loss, too, and have to remind myself that 1-2 lbs a week is quite normal.
I have to agree with you when you finish all 3 cycles and then go back to cycle 1 it can be a drag. You are missing the things that you had in 2 and 3. Remember it is only 17 days and when you finish cycle 3 again, you don't HAVE to go back to cycle 1. I always go back to cycle 2 as it is a combination cycle and I can handle that a lot bettter than the ridgid cycle 1.

I did great on Cycle 1 and 2 - not so much on 3 then restarted Cycle 1 and for some reason this time around I've been struggling with it. But I've kind of lost focus. But am coming up with a plan tonight for the next month. It's going to be a good one!

I find I'm just not hungry enough to WANT to eat the starches. On c1 I am not hungry. I guess I think of C2 days as c1+more food. I follow the eat until your satisfied and when I have the starches I feel overly full.
When I started I munched all day. Now my meals are much smaller and I rarely feel the desire to eat more.
1st Goal: 18lbs by June 1 - Met goal on 4/28
2nd Goal: Onederland by July 31

Thanks, I know it's not hard I understand the cycle but I just need to plan better in this cycle. I was on vacation last week and I found it harder planning the alternating days. There is no good reason just need to get used to it and stay on track Back to a normal schedule and routine this week so it should be good.
What is it that makes this cycle so hard for you. One day you eat cycle 1, the next cycle 2. It adds just a few extra things and you can chose what it is you want to eat from those lists. Then the next day you go back to your cycle 1 day. This cycle is where I lose the most weight because I really have my body confused.
I am about 5 days into cycle 2 after losing 9 lbs in C1 and I am finding it hard with the alternating days, c1 was very easy for me I am really good at all or nothing :) It's been hard and temptations have been very big the past week and I have slipped a few times but I find it helpful to come back here and read everyone's posts. Especially to hear some of the challenges! Thanks guys!
