Not sure how I managed to get so far off track, but I gotta get my groove on again. I had a good start at the beginning of the year, and looking at my photos from Thanksgiving last year, and the pics I posted taaken this week, I can see the difference. I still have such a long way to go though.
I had such a good pace in the beginning, not stressing on how much I was losing or how fast, but focusing on making each meal count and staying within a reasonable calorie limit. As time passed, the weight was slowly coming off.
I stared small, looking at each meal/snack, one little success at a time. Then I added activity, a little more exercise, a little more regular. Before long I had established some good habits! Now my habits are so bad, I'm embarrassed to admit it.
So I am gearing up for change again, little by little if I have to. I have a family BBQ/reunion in 4 weeks' time. Going to set a mini goal of losing 5 lbs between now & then! Wish me luck!
