Walk it off! Work it out!

I apply this to walking off or working off pounds, sore muscles, a bad day at work, a negative attitude, etc.

I just tell myself I am strong, and not a quitter. I remind myself of all I have been thru, and how much better I felt when I had these extra lbs. off, not only physically, but mentally as well! Seems like everything is easier when you are healthy.

When I'm lifting weights, I often need to give myself that push you are talking about. There are photos of healthy, fit people on the walls of the gym, and I focus on whichever photo is closest to me. I have a few fitness-type magazines at home that I leave out for inspiration also.

So, I've been paying attention to what's going on inside my head when I exercise lately, and (totally unconciously, mind you) I find my inner voice saying, "Just one more!" over and over again when I feel like giving up. That's got me to thinking--what do you say to yourself when you hit the wall when you excercise? I want to come up with something to repeat that sounds a little more empowering than my current desperate plea to endure "just one more!" I'd love to hear what gets (and keeps) you going!
