I think this may be exactly where we should be right now for SUSTAINABLE weight loss. If it goes too quickly then it's likely to come back quickly. I don't think it's coincidence that a lot of us are having a plateau week. Here's hoping we see some small movement in the right direction next week......but no despair if it doesn't. Just some action. Remember......a goal without action is merely a dream.

Although I am frustrated because the scale stopped moving, I know I am making healthier choices all the time, more fibre, complex carbs, and drinking more water. I am doing GOOD things for my body. The scale will move again, if not this week, maybe next week! Thanks everyone for your support!

I'm right with you! I didn't gain this last week, but I've only lost less than 1/2 a pound--and I haven't "fallen off the wagon"! It's sooo frustrating. I've decided that I'm going to look at it not as where I should/could be on the scale according to recent weight-loss patterns, but instead where I COULD be if I HADN'T made all of those healthy choices during the last week. It's probably cheesey, but it makes me feel better! Hang in there...I'll be right next to you!

Look at the bigger picture - you've lost 9 pounds in four weeks - is that right? That is a perfect amount for 4 weeks. It's still good to do more exercise like are you doing, just nothing too drastic. Slow and steady changes are best.
I gained a little over a pound this week, so I have to think about why that happened and keep my determination strong. I am taking my own advice and looking at the bigger picture.
It is a bummer not to lose much weight when you've done everything right. I know how that feels. You and I MUST keep going and MUST stay positive. There is no going back now!

I seemed to have hit a "plateau" 2 weeks straight now my weight hasn't changed, well not more than .4 of a pound! Last week was my TOM, so I was prepared not to see a loss, and showed only a .4lb gain. This week I lost that .4lb but that's it!
Not looking for gobs of weight loss here like on biggest loser, just looking for a steady 1-2 lb loss every week. I have increased my activity level since last week, adding more 30 min walks, and strength training, besides doing the wii fit plus for 30 mins, 3x/week. By diet alone, I should be seeing a 1 lb loss. per week based on calories & basic metabolic rate. Added exercise can only help that right?
Anyone else here experienced plateaus? How long can I expect it to last? Not giving up, gonna keep pluggin away, I am confident in my plan, just feel like the last 2 weeks was a waste, I should be 170 by now!
Boy patience for me is just tough to come by. Thanks for letting me blether on about my plateau issues
