Hi everyone, I'm new to posting, just did an intro a little bit ago.

Tomorrow is my official weigh-in day, but I stepped on the scales today (woops!) I'm down 7.6lbs. I am SO happy and motivated!

Sounds like everyone is doing great, hang in there! I know my diet won't always be perfect, but I will always record everything I eat or drink. So far, so good! (yes, I even weighed and recorded those chips the other day...)

It's really cold here today too (Southern Ontario, Canada) so the kids and I are staying in while Hubby's at work. Taking a break from workouts today, just relaxing and browsing recipes!

So the last few days have been pretty good. I have been sticking to my meal plan guidelines and have been working out, which is new for me since I usually give up after the first day. I gave in last night to temptation when my husband pulled out the bag of snacks to munch on while watching a movie. So I need to work on my self control and will power because those are my biggest issues right now. Great work this week everyone and I hope you had a great weekend.

My weigh-in was a success. I lost 2 lbs (which is my weekly goal). Congratulations Ashley and BugQ on your weigh-ins as well! I told my wife I had hoped to lose a little more, but she told me any loss is good loss. I'm off to hit the heavy bag for a bit. I hope everyone has a great week!

I wasn't perfect either, but I also feel good about the progress I've made so far. Lost a pound, so that's something!

I can't wait to hear how everyone's first week has been as we all "joined" around the same time! I love you positive look on how to just improve next week from the bumps of this week Kaio! I can't wait to hear how your weigh-in went. Today was my weigh-in day, and I was down 5.6 pounds! I am so excited because I don't feel like I starved at all this week, ate at a relatives house, AND had a breakfast bagel from a favorite joint... wonderful to know we can do this and eat regular food, too! It's been a really good first week. It wasn't perfect. I missed a weight training session on day 4 and I exceeded my calories a couple times, but all-in-all I'm feeling great. This is the most active I've been in over a year. Any bumps I've hit just give me something to improve on for next week.

Tomorrow is day 1 of week 2 and more importantly, my first WEIGH-IN day since I started! Wish me luck everyone.

Congratulations to all of us for making a change!!! Lets keep at it.

Well, it's been almost a week and I'm still here. I'm starting to get the hang of the nutrition part of the site, thanks to my wife.Some things I entered more than once and showed me going over my targets for the day.I also figured out why it was showing my weight in kilograms and not pounds. Apparently I clicked or forgot to unclick "use metric". That was the easiest 200 lbs i ever lost, but seriously, I am going to stay on target for my goals and as I learn more about the site, Maybe i'll set a few more,who knows, like I said, it's a work in progress. I think tracking everything is the key to success. I was just keeping track in my head and was shocked when I added it how much calories everything was. Even if it is healthy does not mean it is calorie free. So that is my goal this week to track everything. May everyone have a positive week and remember that if you fall off the wagon get right back on don't wait until tomorrow it may never come;)

Hi team,
I've used Spark in the past with much success, but then I stopped Sparking and, well you guessed it, I gained a lot of weight back. So now I'm starting over. I've read through this thread, and I share some of your issues, such as having a really, really hard time not eating after dinner. Since we all just joined or re-joined, I would say the most important we do at this stage is track everything that we eat, even that one little hershey kiss. Each little hershey kiss adds up before you know it!
I agree with FEELINGGR8 that this site is full of great benefits. There are so many resources for us here, and it's overwhelming at first.
I'm around if you need a buddy :)

I used the Enzymatic Therapy Whole Body Cleansing Kit from Walmart the first time I had done a cleanse. But that was a couple years ago. I may check out the one you mentioned.

Yesterday, I ate the horse...I'm going to list it all on my nutrition page, but I haven't yet. And i didn't ride my bike-the kids were home with a snow day. And I didn't drink my 8 glasses. But today, I will and yesterdays horse should tide me over for today. And I will ride my bike and hopefully get in some strength training that I have yet to do.

Go CONFIDO GO!!! Know exactly what you mean. My kids came home last night and I was in the middle of a Billy Blanks Boot Camp taibo dvd. After they laughed at me for a few minutes, I was ready to just turn it off, but my 6 y.o. boy got up and started doing it with me. I think I missed about 1/2 of the ab workout because I was laughing so hard, But it was a great work out for my spirit.LOL This morning he asked if we could do that again when I get home so talk about motivation.emoticon

I worked out with my girls last night. We did one of those Bollywood dance workouts. We were all really terrible, and ended up laughing through most of it, but we were sweating and getting a great workout, too. It made me feel really good to spend that time with them, doing something healthy. I hope we can keep it up.

I count walking my dogs (we go a minimum of a mile, up to 3.5 miles some days) as part of my fitness activity. I also wear a pedometer to clock a minimum of 10000 steps a day - been doing that for a couple of years. When I'm tired and don't want to walk, first my little dogs look pleadingly at me, and guilt me into starting the walk (and I usually feel much better during the walk and afterward). When I check my pedometer and I'm short a few thousand steps, I know the 1.5 mile walk will give me 3500 or so steps - and that gets me moving. Every bit of movement helps - even if you only do 10 minutes a few times a day, they add up! emoticonemoticonemoticonemoticon

Day 1 for me! Congratulations to all of us!! Just remember how good you felt afterwards!! I was out in my yard for 2 hrs Sunday gathering leaves & was exhausted but I felt better than I had in weeks!! I just have to keep remembering how I feel after when I lose my motivation.

I feel great about starting this, and I do well all day, but in the evening. And no, I don't want to weigh myself either. I'm waiting until Monday morning. Hopefully, I will have done enough little things through the week to add up to losing a pound. I've drank more water in the last 3 days than I did the previous 2 weeks, so that's something. And I'm riding my bike every place I can think of. Today, I rode my bike down this roller-coaster hill on the way to my son's school and ate lunch with him. Then I made myself ride up that same roller-coaster hill. I had to stop twice to catch my breath, but I wouldn't let myself get off and push.

Hi everyone! I'm starting a day late, but better late than never, right?

I also started physical therapy today so I'm using that as my physical activities, plus adding in sitting on an exercise ball for at least an hour a day and working up. I know it will help with my chronic pain and to strengthen my core.

Good morning, everyone. FREEZING here today; zero degrees F; just walked the dog (can I count that as activity?). When it is this cold I imagine I am burning more to stay warm! I am ready, I guess, to start anew....creating the life I want and taking responsibility for my eating and activity! I appreciate folks being willing to post here and provide encouragement and support. What I mean is that today is my FIRST day back, I feel a bit unsure of myself, but I am optimistic.

Afternoon everyone! I am on day 2 of this journey, and it has been ok for now. I have to realize that I have not been at work, which is where things break down... I don't take time to eat, I don't take time to drink water, etc. We will see how it goes. Hello! I am a WW lifetime member. I lost all of my baby weight plus more after my son but don't have the time I did to attend meetings after my second. I haven't lost the weight from her and she'll soon be 2. Yikes! We're going to Disney in May and I really want to reach my goal weight by then!

Good morning...just found this site. Was going to join WW online today, but I just lost my job, so I need to save money. This seems like a great alternative. As I look to redefine my work life now, it seems like a great time to focus on my health and appearance too!

Good Morning! Thought I would introduce myself. I'm CJ - currently in Florida. Cold today (65), but sunny! Not looking forward to returning to the midwest later this week. I started reading the Spark book last night and was so intrigued I decided to join. I am a long time Weight Watcher member. I gain and lose the same 20 lbs. every couple of years.
