Sorry I'm late in joining this challenge, but I'm in. I am certain that I can do this. I know I can . . . I know I can . . .

I have been really discouraged lately: When I joined SP I did really well, and got down to 153 pretty quickly (May), then it got very hot here and I couldn't run outside anymore, and the summer semester started keeping me very busy, and my dad was diagnosed w/ cancer on 6/16 and was in the hospital until he passed away on 7/9 - so with all of that I was not eating well or exercising at all, and now I am back to 161lbs.

Current weight: 161.8
Goal weight for the end of this challenge: 146.0

Starting challenge on 7/31

I need to Spark more often! No real weight loss yet, but I've only recently started being more consistent so I expect better results to come. I am seeing more of a pear than apple in the mirror now! that's a good thing.

Oh no! Roberta's gone? I've been MIA too...The same thing has happened on some other teams I've been on. Just write to Spark and they'll reset the team to accept a new leader.

This sounds like a good challenge for me. I was having trouble being consistent with, well, everything, and especially SparkPeople. But, I find if I sked some spark time each week I manage to to better with everything. Accountability is the name of the game!

1st day of challenge: 149.4. Plan to be 134.4 by Labor Day!

I vote that TeeMarie take over as leader of the team. If it weren't for her, I would have dropped off the team. I wrote to Roberta but she's not accepting sparkmail & her page is gone. I bet if we write to customer service we can get a change in leadership.

I'm in. I have 20.1 lbs total left to lose and it would be great to get rid of 15 by Labor Day. I know that it gets harder the closer you get to goal but I'll do my best. I'm restarting the Slimdown Challenge on the 20th so that might kick it up a bit.

6/13: I would love to join this challenge!! My dad's wedding is Labor Day weekend, and I need some accoutability to loose 15 pounds!! Right now I am at 187.8 hopefully I can loose 3 pounds by June 27th!! We can DO it! So excited! Thanks for creating this challenge!!

6/21: Well too bad I gained 1.6 lbs. this week (189.4). But hopefully I will do better during this challenge. Lookout Labor Day! Here we come!
