I started a year ago at 199 and am down to 170. It has been slow. Days of falling off the wagon, took Dec off, and started back in Jan and have lost 14 of the pounds since Jan. Wish there was a fast solution but at age 65 don't guess that will happen. Point being, JUST DON"T QUIT. This has brought my blood pressure down, my sugar down and my cholesterol down. Plus I feel and look so much better. Started an exercise program about a month ago. (Water aerobics 5 days a week and try to walk at least 1 day). Watch your white foods, I use quinoa, bulgur and couscous instead of potatoes and white rice. I use some brown rice. Great recipes on SparkPeople. Drink your water and try to post your nutrition (My Trackers) BEFORE you eat so that if you need to modify, you can. Praying for your success!

I have decided to give this program another try since I found this program for diabeties. I am pre disposed to diabeties. My father, grandfather and grandmother and an uncle have /had diabeties. I wish to lose weight to keep from getting diabeties in the future.
