Get me off this roller coaster!!! I have put on about 100 pounds over the last couple of years. I know this is what causing me to have so much back and joint pain. My goal is to lose 10 pounds in this 8 weeks which is very doable. I am pre-diabetic and want to try and stop this before it is too late. I am having my knee injected tomorrow so that will help. Trying to find my 5 pound weights too. Starting over is not always a bad thing and this is just what I am doing.
Slow but will get there!

Time to get real! Need to stop playing with weight and blood sugar. No longer a spring chicken. Need to get healthy to be able to do all the things on my personal bucket list. Will need lots of help and support! Know I can count on you all

Hoping to get back on track...again. I sign up and then I don't follow through. No one's fault but my own. I have great support from my family, but sometimes lack motivation. I'm beginning to follow some Weight Watchers suggestions and would like to lose about 20 pounds. My AIC is just a little over 7, but it should be lower. Some weight loss would definitely help my BS levels on a daily basis as well a my AIC overall. Hoping that this time I can make some positive, long lasting changes. I know it will be worth it in the long run.

I am new to this whole thing, I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes, type 2, my blood surgar was close to 500. I weight 324 lbs and feel just miserable. My life feels like it is falling apart just because of the weight, I am in constant pain and no energy. I have taken the first step as I joined a gym and started with Shaklee 180. I am using this site for motivation and wisdom.
Hello everyone. I am new also. I joined this challenge because my BG levels are very high. I love my sweets, but I did start exercising a couple weeks ago. My first goal is to figure how to do the challenge.

I think that I started this challenge one other time but did not complete it. I joined this evening but tomorrow will be Day 1 for me. I have lost 60 pounds since starting SPARK, 30# in 2012. I need to lose about 70 more. My weight is starting to creep back up and I need to get back on the losing track. I have been a diabetic for several years but did not get serious until several months ago when my A1C was a 10. I worked really hard for the next 3 months and brought it down to a 6. Now I've gotten lack again and need to be more compliant and watch those carbs and sugars. I am not someone who can "cheat" with just one of anything. Once I start, I binge. I have cleared the house of all of the unhealthy foods before and then slowly they build back up again. It is not all my fault b/c I have enablers who like to bring that junk into the house. I can resist for quite some time but once I taste one sweet it is all I can do not to overdo it. Anyway, this time I plan to succeed.

I am just starting today also. I have been fighting my weight forever like most of us here. I have been very ill since Nov. 2012 and lost 20 plus pounds due to it. I want to lose about 5 more pounds and then try to maintain. Once I lose it it comes right back. That is what I need to work on. Exercise is out of the question right now and that hinders also. So, I will fight and do my best.
On the Challenge team home page scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find a button that says "leave this team". Click that and the system will remove you. Scroll back to the top of the page and rejoin the team and that will be your new start date.
