I feel the same way. I am on Metformin and have been for a couple of years now. I seem to be tired all the time and still do not know a good carb from a bad carb. I do know white potatoes, rice and bread are not good for me. Other than that I am just now starting to take control and have finished my fourth day of working out in a six day period. Thats four more days than I have done in the last six months. I am really glad so many of these exercises can be done moderately to start with. I recently had a TIA and am not going to let this disease of Diabetes be the cause of me having lots of other problems if I can avoid them at all. I have not slept all night in about four years. 3 straight hours would feel like heaven to me. I just signed up for this site yesterday. I am on my way!!!
I found that when I felt like this, I was not eating enough Carbs. So I would increase my Carbs by adding a small snack in addition to what I was already eating for the day. I would do this for a few days and I felt a lot better.

Finally got a full night's sleep last night for the first time in a week, but I am still soooooooooooo tired!!! I WANT to be active and productive, but I am sooooooooo tired my brain is fuzzy and I just want to lay down and rest. Does anyone else experience this? What do you do to take care of yourself when you feel like this?
