I am pre-diabetic which I really think means diabetic, I don't really know how they determine who is and who is not diabetic, my A1C is higher than some people with the diabetic label. I started off with an A1C of 6.9. 6 months later and 25 lbs lighter I am now at 6.2. I hit a plateu in my weight loss but I'm working hard at trying to find changes in my diet and exercise program that will benefit me.
I just signed up today. Not sure how I will do with completing what this challenge is asking, but I'm going to do my best. My sugars are just now getting where they should be, and I am having lows during the night. My biggest goal is to get off meds, but I really just want to lose enough weight where someone notices. =) Good luck to everyone!

How are you doing SPARKMOM6247? I am really bad about getting on here and answering posts. I'm sorry :( I have the spark app on my phone and it really helps tracking my food and exercise. Still have not lost any weight, only maintaining, so i guess that is the goal.

I am at the same place you are. I don't want to take meds and want to lose the weight that will help me reverse the T2. I really need to focus on losing weight and taking care of myself for this next year . How would you like to partner up and keep each other accountable and encouraged?

I was diagnosed in January of this year with Type 2 diabetes. So far I have controlled it through diet and exercise. My goal is to control it this way for a long as I can this way. I think joining this group will help me stay on track!
