Obviously, you have accomplished some outstanding goals, Beckyanne! I don't know where you are on the healing but focus on technique and finishing your race in a healthy manner. I mean don't push and ease back into it. I know you will own that 5K! Doing that will insure a healthy comeback to full force. Patience is key!

Way to Go on all of the races. I've completed just 3 5k's, but I will be doing much more this coming up year. I will be finishing the year with doing at least 1 HM. I need to get my running program down though first. Since my surgery in Oct. I've been a bit behind so now I'm in the process of building myself back up. There is a 5k coming up Feb. 2, and I'm hoping to do that race.

Since Nov 2010, I've completed 31 5Ks & 2 Half Marathons. My wife & I've learned a lot about training and nutrition. We also learned a lot about preparing for and enjoying the race experience! I've been fortunate to join the American Running Company Team here in Dunedin, FL. I remember how intimidated I was when I ran my first race. I found out a lot of runners/walkers felt the same way! Now, it's like breathing. I will check this team daily to see if I can add helpful advice to questions asked and experiences shared. There is always new information out there and we all learn together in the process!
