August Mileage Goal: Trying to get in 25 miles per week
Last pair of shoes I bought: I'm wearing Asics Gel-Kayano 17s I bought in last December, am about to switch to another pair of Asics Gel-Kayano 17s I bought in June, and I've got a pair of Asics GT-2170s on order that I should get in September. I always try to have a backup pair since they wear out after 300-400 miles.

This week will be week 3 of my 5k Your Way running program. I have one more week of walking/running intervals and then it will be all running. I have really enjoyed losing weight and being able to run again!

I have no running goal as such but I want to enter a 5k (preferably my local big fun run in September) and run all the way instead of having to walk part of the route
My last pair of shoes were purchased about 3 years ago (probably need a new pair); they are Nike.

I love reading about everyone's shoes. I'm about to start looking up what everyone is wearing. I'm wearing some Puma barefoot running shoes but I'm in the market for something with more support. I'm thinking that will help my shin pain.

Mileage goal: No real mileage goal, but I'd like to run a 5k in around 25 minutes by the end of the month
Shoes: Asics but they're pretty old, I should actually get new ones today haha

August Mileage Goal: 40 miles minimum, but hoping to get closer to 70.
The last pair of shoes I bought was a pair of Asic Gel Nimbus' a couple weeks ago. They're very soft, and cushy, but rather heavy compared to what I'm used to (Nike Lunarlite). I'm not compelled to return them, but I think in the future I might go back to Nike's Lunar series of shoes.

When was the last time you bought a new pair of shoes? (What kind): This June to begin my 5K/10K vitual race. I got Women's Brooks Ravenna 3. They are like running on pillows. They have a cushion right at the ball of my foot, and since I have thin heels, they snugge my heels perfectly. They are a little piece of heaven in my book. Thank you Lord. :)
