Good Morning team. Gosh I guess it's been since Tuesday since I posted. Lost .4 at TOPS Tuesday night. It's a start.

First day of spring and everything is white. Yep, snow is on the ground and falling. Depending on who you listen to, we are to get 1 to 3 or 3 to 6. Big difference. I'm hoping for the 1 to 3.

Went to the gym Wednesday and again yesterday morning before work. I was off work Wednesday. DH and I then went shopping. Him to Harbor Freight and me looking for a good pair of shoes with cushion for jogging as I'm in the "Couch to 5K" group. Not planning on a 5K but just wanted more cardio.

Better run. TTFN and TGIF. Happy Spring!!! Wherever it is. LOL

Hi team and Happy St. Patty's Day. The car is at the shop. They called at lunchtime and said it was done. It's going to cost $89.99, of which we will get $67 back because of road hazard damage. When we bought the tires from tirerack.com, it came with free road hazard insurance. Halleluiah! We had never gotten the road hazard before when we bought tires cause it was always an extra expense. So glad they include it in the price now.

Cloudy with peeks of sun and windy today. Started out near 50 this morning but now temps are dropping. Supposed to be back into the 30s for a high tomorrow. Yuck!

Morning team. What a weekend. Saturday morning I was driving to the gym. It was raining and foggy as I was going down the mountain. Car headlights coming the opposite direction temporarily blinded me and I hit a rock. I had been watching for them as I knew there would probably be some. I Ran right over it with my right front tire. It seemed fine, drove it to the gym and home. We had a meeting that night and it seemed fine then too. No lights came on indicating low tire pressure or anything. Sunday morning we backed it out to go to church and it was flat. DH pumped it up and we took it to church. He wanted to see what it would do since I would need it to go to work. Till we got out of church, the low pressure light came back on so we took it home. We got in the truck and we went to a couple of stores, then Texas Roadhouse to eat, then I went to the gym. I'd had a headache off and on all day and at the gym it got worse. I was barely there an hour. Went home, got things put away, church offering done, computer work done, then I sat with a cup of coffee and watched the race. Seemed to ease by evening. I've never had a migraine and I don't think that's what this was, but I just didn't feel my best. Guess I'll be driving the truck to work today. Hate driving the truck.

Say a little prayer for my DIL in Florida and the family. Her grandmother has been in the hospital a couple weeks now and is in her final days. She went in with pneumonia and has deteriorated. She now can barely breathe and refuses to be intubated. She is ready to go home to the Lord. She has outlived 2 children and her husband and is in her 90s. DIL and oldest grandson are flying to Ohio to be with her. Pray to end her suffering and they have a safe trip.

Morning team. Computer problems, whatever it was, is fixed. Strange that my phone didn't update at yesterday either until I finally restarted it yesterday evening then it was fine. Maybe a problem on Verizon's side?

It was a beautiful day here yesterday. The wind was chilly but the sunshine was glorious! Rain moves in later today then most of tomorrow. They say we're to get 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. Not good with the snow still on the ground. Some areas are in a flood watch.

Today is the 2nd Friday the 13th this year. We will have one more in November. 3 in one year is very rare. But hey, at least it's Friday!!!

I'm off tomorrow so hitting the gym early, then I have to work on my church report for a meeting on Tuesday evening. We then have a meeting tomorrow night.

Hello team. Computer issues at home so couldn't get on. Had my last PT appt. for my elbow. She gave me a couple more exercises to do and I'm up to a green band, blue memory foam, and a 2 pound weight. On the downside, she said it would probably be the end of June, if I keep doing the exercises and don't reinjure it, before it's well. As long as it gets well, that's fine with me.

Beautiful, sunshiny day today. Too bad I'm stuck inside.

Morning team. The scale was so unkind last night at TOPS. I gained 2.2 pounds. Feeling blah today and have so much to do after work. We get off at 1, then hitting the gym before having to be at an eye appt. at 3. Then I need to go to the grocery store, Staples, and Panera, then get something to eat if there's time, then home, and Lent services. AACCKK! Lord give me strength!

Very foggy here this morning. We are under a fog advisory until 9am. From there it's to be near 50. Wahoo!

Afternoon team. Had a staff meeting this morning at work. TOPS tonight. Probably will gain, scale is up. Figures! Can't understand with me working out like I am why I'm not losing.

The training yesterday was informative. It should help when they integrate the rest of the programs into it.

Got to the gym again last night for a good 45 minute workout, then used the massage chair. Ahhh!

Good Morning team. I didn't get to post anything all weekend but did log in so I will try and catch you up.

Saturday I went to the gym and was there for 2 1/2 hours doing various things. Then went to the Women's Guild meeting that got rescheduled from Tuesday evening. We really needed a meeting as we hadn't been able to meet since November because of weather and cold. When I got home, I cleaned the bathroom and did some computer work, then we went to Cracker Barrel to eat. Had the haddock dinner. Yummy!

Yesterday was church then we had some lunch and I went to the gym. Was there another 2 hours. Ran over to Walmart for a couple of things then came home and did the church deposit and watched the race.

Today a coworker and I have to travel to our main branch for some training, then we'll travel back and I'll finish out the day at my branch. After work I'm going to the gym.

TTFN and have a God filled day.

Morning team. Went to the gym last night for about 45 minutes. Got a good ST workout in. Warmed up on the elliptical for 11 minutes then did the leg machines, then finished out on the Arc Trainer. (It's like a stair stepper) Very good workout. Taking today off as it is my long day at work, then meeting DIL, her mom and a friend at the gym tomorrow morning. Rescheduled the Women's Guild meeting for 10:30 tomorrow morning too so have to be out of the gym and to the meeting by then.

Very cold this morning. We have zero degrees. Hopefully this is the last of the real cold mornings. Next week they are promising the temps to get to 50 for 3 days in a row. Sure hope they don't change it till then.

Morning team. Got my haircut yesterday, then hit the gym. Had a great workout and upgraded my membership to black, which means I can now utilize the massage tables, tanning booths, use ANY Planet Fitness facility in the whole USA, and bring a guest. Course it cost another $10/month but I am going a lot and would like some sort of tan before the cruise in May since it probably won't get to be tanning season here in PA till after that. Now to find the extra time to do it.

Lent Services were cancelled for last night as we were expecting the roads to re-freeze and snow. We didn't get the snow, only a little skiff. They were calling for 2-4, or 3-6, or 6-9, depending on who you listened to. Didn't bother me as I really didn't want to go.

Morning team. The snow yesterday ended up as freezing rain and sleet. Still spitting freezing rain but is the bank delayed opening? No, but the schools are.

After work today is a badly needed haircut, then hitting the gym and groceries. Lent services tonight IF the next storm doesn't hit till time to leave. This one's supposed to be snow. So done with winter I could scream!

Hey team. TOPS and Women's Guild are both cancelled for tonight. This makes the 4th month in a row we've had to cancel Women's Guild. We're going to try and reschedule it for either Saturday morning or next Tuesday evening.

Got to the gym last night. Got a great workout in. Will go again after work tomorrow.

Snowing now and it's to turn to freezing rain and sleet this afternoon. Hoping the bank closes early.

Had PT this morning and am now up to a red band, pink memory foam and a 1 pound weight for my exercises. She added another exercise and told me she will add one more next week, which might be my last. So I guess it's coming along just so long as I don't reinjure it.

I also got the retest results back for the H. Pylori and I'm all clear. WooHoo!

Morning team. I'm brand new this morning to the team. We did make it to have lunch at Texas Roadhouse with family and friends yesterday. We were there for 2 hours talking. Decided not to go to the gym and it's a good thing as they hadn't done anything to our road since before we had left to go to lunch and it only got worse after that. It snow all day and into the night but only accumulated about 3 inches. Enough to make a mess and delay schools today. Now it is windy.

Planning on going to the gym after work tonight. Hope I can get on a treadmill as I've joined the 5K group as I want to up my cardio. It's a 5 week plan to involve walking and jogging. Hope I can do this.

I have a question--I use the SPAT and it records my activity automatically. Then when I go to track my run using the log sheet (electronic) for the program--it adds it to my tracker, too. So I've got double entry. Do you just not use the SPAT for the run??

I went out twice this past week, yippee, although it was more of a fast walk than jogging but I did it!

My son, daughter and husband and I ran, walked, jogged, biked and gardened to the point of exhaustion this weekend and it felt great! Today is a rest day with only 2 (20 min) walking segments and some stretching. Tomorrow, I run!!!

Yesterday my husband walked me into work (3 miles) and my husband and son met me for my walk/run home (3 min walk: 2 min run x 6 cycles).

It was so nice to book end a long day at work with family and fitness!

I did week 3 day 2 before going to work yesterday and I will do week 3 day 3 as scheduled today before going to work. Then I will be back on track. I like this weeks run because it is easy math . 3 and 2, 3 and 2, repeat, repeat. Easy peasy. Have a good day everyone.

I've completed week 2! I think I get the same workout with Leslie Sansone videos but I will follow the problem faithfully til the end. I find I write out on a piece of paper what times I need to follow on my stopwatch (on my iphone) then I can just turn on the timer and get moving!

Completed week one of the training program. Was pretty similar to what I was doing so not too bad. Figured out how to program the plan into "Runkeeper". Made it easy to push myself. Gives me a minute by minute update on pace, time and distance remaining.

Off to a great start. Looking forward to week two.

Tarnold, not to worry you can always get some rest today and tomorrow will be a great day for a lovely workout. Remember, participation and not perfection is what is required here. You're a winner girl.

Today was not a perfect day for me either but I made lovely lemonade out of the lemon I got. The mood of the gym girl was so bad that it was contagious. I could hardly run for 4 minutes and I decided to walk the rest of the run and I did well after all.

It really looks like I will be restarting the program. Have to wait awhile longer though. My right knee is killing me. Mostly when I go to bed. Hard to fall asleep and the pain will wake me up. If it doesn't get better soon I will have to go to the doctor....ugh. Still have shin splints that seem to be improving. I'm not an exceptionally large person (140lbs) so I'm not sure why I am having so much trouble becoming a runner. I walk most days almost 3 miles with the dog plus my usual everyday walking around getting stuff done and volunteering at the food bank (3.5 miles by the time I got home from the food bank today!). My left knee has been hurting too..... I'm only 41 but lately feel like I'm 75.....

I ran a lot as a teen but fell out of it. I hope I am a runner. It took me a bit to run right and breathe right. I love running for 3 min and then walking for one. It helps me go faster and further!

68Anne, it's not easy starting over and its great that you have taken on the challenge. Are you a natural runner? I am a walker trying to become a runner.

I have always wanted to run, but my lunges and legs just wouldn't let me. I am just at a different place and I know this is the time to start. I am so much stronger mentally and physically.

Dedrie I am so glad you have decided to take things up a notch, I believe in you and know that you can do this if you really want to. I believe in every one that joins this team, it is never done in error only that life gets in the way and stop us from doing what we got to do sometimes. Thank you ladies! I actually got the answer and towards the bottom right of the tracking page I was able to unregister and register again to reset my tracker. It was pretty simple.

This is really the first time I am taking this serious. For the first week, is 1.58 miles in 25 minutes a good speed? What are your miles for the first week?

Go to your program page and in the center it gives you a drop down box to choose your week. Choose Week 1 and then click Save Preferences to update. This will start your back at the beginning!

How has the week been? I got in 17.5 miles last week and have a 20 mile goal this week!
Did you run? Followed the plan and completed most of my intervals!
What was your cross trainings like? Strength training, elliptical on bad weather days and walks on the good days!
Was the weather favourable or confusing? Very high pollen counts! Rain a couple of days, but mostly sunny and mild!!
How did it affect your days? Stayed inside on the elliptical on the rainy days.

Anne - I feel so happy that you are all toned up. It is a better progress tracker, instead of obsessing about my scale measurements. I am determined to reducing my body fat percentage to a healthy ratio.

Weight training this am and some time on the eliptical trainer to save wear and tear on my knees. Then a root canal.hope to feel better onece the dental work is done.

Ooh, busy busy! Good for you

I can tell I am toning up and I took measurements last night. I have two more pounds than before but I've lost one inch or more everywhere else (thigh, hips and waist). Arm stayed the same which is okay!

Hello everyone!!! I am sorry ave been MIA, the Easter holidays, and a new sparkteam I just joined is taken most of the time off me. But it has not taken my runs away from me. I did not run today only some low impact on the cross trainer.

I am doing really well and waiting for the round 25 of the BLC. I am loving every moment of it.
