There are Christian soldiers in abundance in the United States and in our Military that would take up arms against a godless or pagan dictatorship.
Frankly, with the make-up of the military at the unit command level, I don't see any person being able to seize control as it appears Obama is trying to do. All of the military at every level has sworn to defend the Constitution and our country against ALL enemies, both foreign AND Domestic. Being retired, many of us feel, has not resulted in a relief from our oaths. To me, that would be dishonorable.
We would become the equivalent of the many peoples (unproven) idea of the Catholic Jesuits - Jesuits are also known colloquially as "God's Marines" and as "The Company", these being references to founder Ignatius of Loyola's military background and members' willingness to accept orders anywhere in the world and live in extreme conditions.
On the other hand, maybe we would be compared to the Masons and their obvious fighting spirit in re-opening the path to Jerusalem that was forbidden to Christians when the Muslims annexed Jerusalem and the surrounding territory.
I am going to pray for help for God's children. I am going to pray for a religious epiphany for Barack Hussein Obama. I am going to pray that our country not be split into two or more warring factions. I'm going to pray that we have a new President, and that person will act in the best interests of God and our country.
Those on the liberal side of the spectrum use the words of Jesus to plague and confuse Christians when they quote God says to "love your neighbor" and "turn the other cheek". They are technically correct, but spiritually they forget that one of the basic Commandments is "Thou shalt not murder", which they condone every day by using abortion to kill children in vitro as the result of pregnancy where no thoughts were given or planned to prevent a pregnancy.
They take the words of Jesus and, in the Devils way, twist them to spin great sins into apparent compassionate disregard by Conservatives.
I pray for forgiveness, and hopefully the privilege of seeing Evil overcome.
