Maybe you should try going back to the old running shoes until your done with this 5K. New shoes seem to need a lot of break-in time and you don't need to deal with pain that comes with it. Feel better : )

I have been experiencing horrible calf pain on both inner legs during my last two training sessions. I am hoping it is not shin splints as I don't have the ability to rest, the 5K is coming up. I did recently get new running shoes that are supposed to keep my knees in line, maybe that is causing it? Any ideas?
