Way to go HalinHalf! I'm clocking in at about a 20 minute mile, on a two mile walk/run. I'll be thrilled to be able to run the entire way!! But like ReddBetsy, I'm just trying to keep it going! You are both an inspiration.

I just started, and I was super proud to get to .95 mile in the allotted 20 minutes this morning. I want to get fast, but right now I am just trying to keep going. Someday I will get to that 13 min mile-- Go Awesome You! Keep Moving! I think you are an inspiration! emoticon

Thanks to Spark People's running plan, I just completed a mile in 13:14.

That may not sound that fast to an experienced runner, however five weeks ago when I began the program, my mile time was 16 minutes to run just one mile. I was struggling.

It was still difficult to run for 13 minutes straight, however I was going faster. I hope in just 3 more weeks on the 25th I'll be taking that personal "virtual" 5k, I know it'll be difficult, but I know the training has made me better and better. I just wish I knew about joining this group 5 weeks ago lol. :-)
