I never really looked into Couch to 5k, and I joined this one because it was an SP plan. I really liked it; I felt like it was a good pace and I feel it transitions into the SP running program well, which is what I am starting this week.

I loved the SP plan! I finished my first 5K two weeks ago and did another one last weekend! It was just so easy to follow and I started adding more running time each week, so now I can go about 12 minutes before needing to walk for a minute. Find what works for you and go for it! Good luck :)
Glad to see this discussion here, since I've got a similar question.
What do folks think about mashing the two together? I'll be working this program both on the road (1 day) and on treadmill at the gym (2 days). I prefer Robert Ullrey's C25K podcast for the road because he gives good cues and includes supportive/motivating commentary. But for the treadmill I'm thinking I may prefer the SP program since the intervals would be simpler to track with the timer in front of me.
