That would be considered cross training. I would cross train on the rainy day and do the run/walk workout the next day.

I am doing my run/walk on Sun, Tues, Thurs. If it rained on Thursday, I could cross train and then run on Friday. If it rained again, then I would probably hop on the treadmill to avoid consectutive workouts on Sat/Sun.

is it ok to factor in my cybrex arc workout on days that it rains and i can not get out to run? I hate running on the tread mill.
