I have 4 or 5 USMC cadences on my ipod varying from 1:00 to 3:00, which helps with intervals and is a comfortable pace for me.

Disturbed - Warrior (favourite tune to do cardio with right now)
Disturbed - Indestrictible
Black Tide - That Fire
Metallica - Battery
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Nickelback - Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting
Nickelback - Burn It To the Ground
Two Door Cinema Club - What You Know (can't be balls-out the entire time! LOL)

There are others as well, but these are the ones I cycle back to the most. Definitely the cadences though.

Oh please! I'm sure it's just what your parents listened to when you were growing up, right? :)

Bottom line is you are NOT OLD!

I rarely listen to music when I run since I have to be aware of my surroundings. But when I do, I listen to a lot of 80s music. Yeah, I'm old emoticon

As Rookie runners, most of us are probably moving at about the same pace. Do you have any songs that have the perfect tempo and get you pumped up to get through your intervals?

Thanks!
