The same thing happened to me yesterday after I finished my first jogging interval, I almost stopped the treadmill to stretch, but it started getting better and I was fine for my second jogging interval and after that.
I have a B12 deficiency that I manage with supplements so i took an extra one this AM. You can buy a bottle of B12, it's water soluble so if your body doesn't need it just flushes out. Try eating a banana too before you work out.
I've never experienced this before and I have no clue what it is - after jogging for a while the past 2 times I've experienced gradual cramping in my legs - lower calf, direct back of leg, below the meaty muscle part. It does not extend into my foot or ankles and my shins and main calves are fine. When I switch to walking it gets a little worse before loosening up again. I stretch faithfully after each exercise session, holding each stretch for at least 30 seconds. Any ideas????
