I'm switching between Spinning, Zumba, boot-camp, and weights! Pretty much whatever I'm in the mood for that day, though I think I'll do weights on the same day I do the 5K program. We'll see. I'm starting this program next week.

Boxing class, spinning and water jogging. Water jogging is great because you are using similar muscles to running, but there is no impact!

I use weights on Tues and Sat. I try to walk daily at work (usually 35 - 40 minutes 4 times a week) Garden on Sunday, which is a lot of work prepping the beds for planting my vegetables. Check my website link if you want to see it. Today I did Coach Nicole's 10 minutes kick boxing as well. So basically, a little of this, a little of that, haha.

I go to our park lake and the track is about 500 meters long. At various points along the track there are stops and as I walk or ride my bile I stop to do some vigorous step ups or skip for a couple of minutes.

I'm new to this. But, I have been doing elliptical or stair climbing and I'm hoping to swim on every second Saturday (it's expensive).
Here is an article I read about Crosstraining for Runners
I tend to do yoga after my runs as the stretching stop me form stiffening up, and the elliptical on off days... last weekend I went skiing but now the sun is here I need to fine something else to do.
The outdoor pool opens in about 6 weeks so I will build that in when the weather is good.
I keep thinking I might try dance classes of some description - zumba seems to be the latest craze maybe I will give that a try.

I go ice skating 2-3 times a week and swimming an hour a week. I'm a really rubbish swimmer but it's good physiotherapy for my chronic back pain in addition to an extra hour of exercise.
My goal is to be able to wear a skating dress and not be ashamed of myself.

This week, walking.
Next week I am adding swimming to my cross training.
I change it up between strength training with the workout generator on sparkpeople, a step video and a Biggest Loser Cardio Max video. I also walk my dog! Sometimes she runs with me but she kind of slows me down with her sniffing stops. Now she just gets her own walk (with me of course) and I get my own training walk/run!

I also use the stationary bike and my outside bike, elliptical, stair master, walk hills on a TM (we don't have hills in FL), DVDs but I vary these and just do which ever one I feel like twice a week.

I do deep-water aerobics twice a week and elliptical or mall-walking on other days. I can't wait until the weather gets nicer so I can walk outdoors.
I'm determined to start hiking this summer. Just bought a backpack, so I'm going to start carrying it on my mall-walks with some weight in it for conditioning.
