That's great. Congrats on not giving up. I'm doing good so far. I did 3 miles in 46 min last Thursday. That's my best time ever. Had a total knee replacement 1 year ago. My goal is to walk another 1/2 marathon by next spring. I did the music city marathon 4 years ago and than one for the American heart association 2 years ago. The last one about did me inn and i said i would never do another one but now that my knee is fixed i just have to try again. Good luck and don't't give up.

The first time I joined the team, my physical therapist made me leave the team as he thought I wasn't ready to exercise that much. When the fall challenge came out I joined again and I am walking 2 miles. I can see the progress, so I can relate to you. emoticon

I know where you are coming from B2LAWLESS, 2 years ago I could barely stand. I was getting over a long time illness, then I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and started doing small things to regain my strength. Now I can walk 2 miles! I am only on week 3, but I know I'll see this to the end! Then I will take on a new challenge to walk somewhere else!

When I started this, I questioned my ability to make it this far into the training. But when I did the 2 miles, I knew I could complete the entire race. When I began walking, I could only walk 5 minutes, now I can walk an hour at a brisk pace. Rah.
