Go into the SP Nutrition tab to reset the adjustment for the amount of exercise you expect to do so that it can calculate a new set of calorie ranges. You'll be having to cut back on the calories some with the knee injury but you'll still be able to loose weight, if you follow the new calorie range guidelines. Take care of yourself!
Listen to all the advice you are getting. I fell 3 weeks after I joined SP, and spent the past 3 months in cast as I broke my leg while walking. I have osteoarthritis and RA, but it was a back spasm that threw me to the ground. I knew it was broken as soon as I started to try to get up. Well, the ankle has never healed properly and is still very sore.
So listen to your knees and stop when they tell you they are done!

I am sorry to hear that you fell. Don't mess with the knee, after all it carries you. Did you get x-rays or an MRI to make sure you didn't tear or injure anything? I have OA of the knees and one knee is shot bone against bone. The Dr. said the worst thing you can do is not exercise it. The trick is not over doing it. I would definitely find out what and how much you should be doing with that knee and work with upper and core strengthening for now. I hope you have a fast recovery.

So sorry to hear about your fall. Take it easy with the knee. Talk to your doctor and find some exercises you can do to rehab it. Work on upper body exercises, too. Heal quickly!
