Ask and you shall receive. Here are the links you'll need for the walking program:

SparkPeople's Official 5K Your Way Walking Program: www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_i
nd
ividual.asp

Create and track your own maps with your own progress:

Track you progress on this plan here:
www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/training
-p
rogram.asp?p=3

One rule of thumb to remember: If you track your walks through the program, DO NOT track them as well on your workout tracker. You'll have duplicate entries.

NOTE: I don't think you'd have a problem entering your progress in the walking program to reflect what you've done so far. If you've kept track of your progress in the plan you mistakenly are in, just go back and note your progress day to day and input that into the area of the walk plan. JUST REMEMBER to "LEAVE THIS PROGRAM" everywhere you need to in the program you're mistakenly involved in. That link can be found in the lower right hand corner of the pages of that plan.

Don't worry bout getting out of the program you're mistakenly in. You should continue to get emails from it reminding you what you need to do and you can then refer to those pages, scroll down to lower right-hand corner of those pages and remove yourself.

Write if you still don't understand or are confused. I have a tendency of confusing people with my explanations. If I do, a thousand apologies. Email me if you need to. Getting out of the wrong program and into the new one shouldn't be a problem.

Looking to see you on the walking plan. ;)

No one told me there was a walking program. Where do I find that. It seems I should walk before I run, (or jog). emoticon

Thanks for the help.

JACKIE4019 - that is the jog program. You can leave that program and join the walking program if you wish. If you really want to do the walk/jog, you might want to join that team, but to put in my two cents worth, if it's hard to do the jog time, then try slowing down, taking shorter strides, and standing tall. You can repeat the week if you feel it would be beneficial to you.

I think you made the same mistake I did when I started. You got yourself into the walking/jogging program when you should be looking at the walking program. Let me know if that helps.

according to my week 2 schedule I should walk 3 minutes and jog 2, then repeat 4 times. But I can't seem to jog the whole 2 minutes. I've tried 2 days, and still can't seem to make it. So my question is, should I repeat week 2 next week or go on.
