mine doesn't have miles, it has "revolutions"
I looked it up on multiple sites... apparently with my 18 inch stride I need 1120.45 revolutions to reach a mile.
which I find odd because it takes me twice as long to walk that "mile" as it does in my neighborhood.

My milestones:
Babies in 4/05, 12/06, 1/08, 2/10
Abdominal surgeries - (5/08)x2, 2/10, 6/10, 8/10, 9/10, 4/12, and 10/12
March 2010 - 226 (highest non-pg)
Oct 2011 - 165 (only 10 lbs away from goal!)
Broke foot - Oct 2011
Nov 2012 - 165
Feb 2013 - Knee Injury: meniscal tear(healed) w/painful meniscal cyst(atm)
Sept 2013 - 177
Heart surgery - Sept 2013
Jan 2014 - 186

Actually, most ellipticals have a miles read out on their panel. If not, depending on your speed you can figure that "walking" on the elliptical will be a 15 to 19 minute mile.

I use an elliptical, so how would I track distance for my 5k?
Walking around my neighborhood isn't always an option because of the weather or time of day/safety issues.
