I use a pedometer that is the size of a credit card. It slips into my sock. It works most of the time! It over heated on Sunday. I'm finally to the point I can go by time & walk 22 minute miles. I can keep tract that way, too! I like to use the pedometer though, because I DO walk more miles that 1 in 22, sometimes.

I'm looking forward to walking a 5K in the same day. I think I did on Sunday, I walked for 2 hours, but as I said, the predometer went wacky!

Looks like a fun team!

It's been a while since I logged in. I have been all over the place with my weight and trying this and that.....Anyway.,...

I just wanted to report that I am very PROUD of MYSELF - because I walked/ran a 10K yesterday for the MS walk here in my town. I was only going to do 5K - but I said to myself = push yourself to do more - and I DID IT !!!! Now I'm ready for another one :)

Update I bought my Tractivity sensor and having been wearing since the last week in April and I have walked 147 miles and over 350,000 steps. It also tracks my calories burned (over 27, calories) and how many days active. As I complete different achievements i have received awards for all my work. I love this most of all. I did not realize that I walked as many steps as I do. I totally love my Tractivity sensor, they are suppose to be coming out with a way to attach it to sandals.

Haven't heard of the device but I'm going to walmart to check out the $10.00 one. I'm returning my second pedometer that doesn't work. Hope it won't be a third. Let us know how it works out!

Never heard of this device. I have a pedometer that is supposed to tell me all sorts of things, but I don't know how to use it other than to keep track of steps.

I bought a $10 one at walmart and as long as I keep it clipped to the collar of my shirt, it tracks like a gem. It may not be stylish, but it gets the job done without spending an arm and a leg.

It is a special pedometer that hides in your shoe ($70) or
clips to your shoe ($30).

Sounds like a pedometer like device, but I have not seen or heard of it. If you want, the cost isn't that great and it would be a fun way to track your activity. If you buy it, let us know how it works.

Just checked out something new on facebook Tractivity . Using a sensor in or on your shoe it lets you know how many steps or miles that you have walked. Has anyone else heard about this? Tractivity is giving a 50% off coupon if you click the like button.
