Hello everyone I am sworvoski I began this journey of changing my life 1 yr. Ago. I walk 15 miles a week plus I set a daily goal of 13000 steps. I have been able to stick to this routine . I am very glad to be here with all you.
Everyday gets easier with perseverance.

Enjoyed my walk with my dog, Maile.She's a husky/lab mix and 70 lbs so she really appreciates getting out of the house and seeing what's going on in the world. I need to take her before it gets too hot but, luckily, so do others so we get to see a lot of her friends when we go. Had a nice 3.46 mile walk on the golf cart paths around our town. Time and distance seems to go much more quickly when I have my favorite walking partner with me! We got it done in 62 minutes! Considering we were walking 25 minute miles just a few months ago, it is quite a mood booster to finish faster these days. I've actually had to add distance on some of my shorter routes just to meet my goal of at least 40 walking minutes a day.

You cannot reach your goal without a plan. It's like trying to reach your destination without a map or directions.
People say God is their co-pilot...fortunately, I know how I drive so I have made Him my pilot. It seems the wiser choice.
My boy chihuahua, Chico, likes to walk with me. Actually, I walk and he runs to keep up with me. He really keeps me going when I feel like stopping. If a little one year old puppy can do it, so can I. It's nice to have a friend to walk with.
