I went to a store here called Fleet Feet. They basically custom fit a shoe for you and for what your use will be. I have fallen arches and have gotten shin splints in the past. I must say my FAVE is my pair of Mizunos and the inserts I have in them too. I was a little hesitant because of the cost, but it really was well worth the investment! I am enjoying adding mileage to them every day! emoticon

thanks for the tip. I just bought those new shape up shoes and I love them. I just came back from colorado to see family. now, I am drinking my water and walking up a storm. ha. good luck, this week!

Do you have a favorite or newly discovered favorite kind of workout tee, running socks, or exercise shorts? What is your must-have piece of workout gear? What would you never use again?

I'm guessing that a lot of us are looking for better fitting or more useful gear-- please share your tips and helpful hints!

My first tip to share: I like the Wright socks and Coolmax socks (not cotton) for avoiding blisters.
