All right, after all my disdain for this I went. I got talked into going. I feel the same way though, romance and zombies just don't mix. Everyone I went with thought it was cute. The audience was laughing the entire movie. I wouldn't put it in the same boat as Shaun of the Dead funny though. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate it. I just like my zombies, zombies. No working brain of their own, but do enjoy eating them.
Also, I kept thinking throughout the whole movie that the lead girl was pants (Pants= Bella theoatmeal.com/story/twilight ) She just looked so much like a blond version of her.

I read the book and was pretty unimpressed. I found it interesting, at first, but then I felt that it went pretty teen romance on me. The reviews will have to be amazing to get me to go. I prefer my zombies to be slow moving, menacing, bringers of death. I don't want them to become unzombies; that's no fun.
Take a deep breath, it's just a bad day, not a bad life.

I'm psyched for this movie, I know it's not the blood and gore type, (which is awesome too and we'll get that from World War Z I think), but it looks really cute and funny, and I have lotsa love for Shaun of the Dead, and Zombieland, so why not?
Things can only get better from here
