The calories you lose will depend on how much you weigh. For instance, when I weighed 175lbs I would burn more calories; however, now that I am 20lbs lighter I have found that I am losing less calories while on the same intensity level. I believe it was because I was getting used to the workout routine.

That's odd. I've done both the low intensity short classes, and the both come out to about 214/217 calories. That's at 91%. (At least for one of them. Can't seem to get the other one to register the moves.)

Personal Goal, walk 10,000 Steps a day

Thank you. I guess I was trying to determine if all the low intensity dances burn about the same calories. I will continue to try different ones, and see what happens.

Gina,

Hi! Welcome to the group.

I would check the calories burned against a longer class. Since what you are comparing is only a 3 minute difference, I wouldn't expect a drastic difference in the calories burned.

I just started doing the Wii Zumba Dance 2. I've been doing the short low intensity dance. One ran 17 minutes, and one ran 20 minutes, and both said I burned 401 calories. Will I always burn 401 calories as long as I am doing low intensity? Will it change the faster I move or the more accurate I get with the moves?
