There's also something called "The Plan". I don't know much about it, but some people in the anti-inflammatory sparkteam advocate it. In a nutshell, certain food sensitivities can lead to inflammation and "The Plan" teaches you how to figure this out.
Personally, I found that removing all processed foods (and limiting red meat and sugar) has helped to reduce pain in my joints.
