OK I am with you on the knee replacements. I don't want them either. I am 55 yrs old and at this time am dealing with patellar tendonitis. I have known for a lot of years that I had arthritis of both knees. But I did not take care of myself or manage my weight. I know research says the best treatment for arthritis pain is exercise. If you don't use it you lose it!!! I am currently going to a Sports Medicine physician because their whole approach is to rehab you back to function. So I have a whole regimen set up for myself and am planning on rehabbing back to normal function and a lower weight. Thanks for echoing my thoughts in your blog and making people aware that it is possible to accomplish this goal.
