WELCOME BACK HEAVENLYFLOWER1. I SEE ALOT OF VERY GOOD IDEAS ON HERE FOR YOU TO TRY. THE POOL IS THE BEST AS YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR FOOT. THERE ARE MANY GOOD CHAIR EXERCISES AS WELL. YOU HAVE COME BACK TO THE RIGHT PLACE FOR AWESOME IDEAS, INFORMATION, AND JUST PLAIN OLD FRIENSHIP. DON'T EVER WORRY ABOUT VENTING. WE HAVE ALL DONE THAT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. ENJOY THE EXERCISE VIDEOS, THE RECIPES, ETC.

Welcome to SparkPeople. I hear you on the surgeries. I had 3 major surgeries last year plus one broken foot and I'm scheduled to see the neuro surgeon for tears in my lumbar spine and sacrum along with other things. Don't ever worry about venting on here - - I'm sure we've all done it at one time or another. Just take it one day at a time. Walking is a great exercise - that's where I get most of my exercise due to the many disabilities etc that I've had the last few years. If you have access to a pool that would be good for you to walk in also. Start walking for 5-10 minutes and gradually increase it as you can. emoticon

Having so many ailments just gets me down but I am trying to get motivated again. I have had several surgeries to my rt elbow ended up removing one bone, arm doesn't straighten, then my knee has gotten bad had a cortisone shot several days ago and it is helping some. still need surgery though. Anyway sorry for the complaining, I have finally been able to get 20 minutes in on the gazelle today, feel like that was a BIG start. Hoping to increase it everyday and start walking the trails now that the weather is getting nicer. Feels good being back on here.
