I have a Wii, I bought it so I could get WiiFit. It's one thing I use a lot because it has such a variety of things to chose from. I can always find SOMETHING I can manage even if I'm having a bad arthritis day. It has yoga, strength, cardio, balance and quite a variety of each. It's like anything else though, no matter how much you like it eventually you get bored and need to take a break from it and do something else for awhile. It keeps track of how many times you've used it though and today is day 769 for me. I think I've had it about 2 1/2 years so I feel like the purchase was worth it.

What sort of low impact exercises do you do? I hurt so much I am almost afraid to move at all sometimes. So far a few range of motion exercises and a very tiny bit of walking is all I can manage, but I always hurt more afterward. Maybe these will help me get going.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I finally am moving a bit better. Between the hot showers and forcing myself to move, even though it hurts like H~`L. It is so easy to get down about this. That is why I started the post in the first place.

YES, I WOULD SAY OOUCH !! I FELL ON THE 25TH OF SEPT, FRACUURED TWO PELVIC BONES. GETTING THERAPY IT HAS NOW TWO WEEKS TUES. THIS WEEK I HAD TO GET ON AND OFF THE BED AFTER EXCERCISES.... W-OOUCH...NEVER GET OUT OF BED IN THE DARK AND HALF ASLEEP AGAIN.
If you live somewhere near a place that has a swimming pool or hot tub, exercising in the water will be a great relief to you. Also, TART CHERRY JUICE seems to help my husband a lot when the medication for his osteo and rheumatoid arthritis is quite doing the job.

Maybe low impact exercise? I have a stationary bike at home that helps me keep my joints moving which alleviates some stiffness.
I always use Sombra, a topical warming gel goop for the spots where I'm more acutely in pain. It helps me.
And yeah....really, really, really long, hot showers. I'm a landlord's worst nightmare with how long my showers are anymore.....

The weather is getting cooler and wetter. I am getting creakier by the second. Warm showers help some. I am really trying not to take more pain meds than I am now. Really just want to go back to bed. Help?
