After having a bad yesterday dealing with a lot of pain, I did go to the "Y" this morning and exercised for 70 minutes. Goal met for today!!

My goal for today was to make sure I met my goals for eating correctly. That I was able to go swimming at the lake and tread water for an hour was an exercise bonus.

Refuse to be beaten by inanimate objects, inflexible minds, and incompetent practices.

Congrats on the quit smoking!!! I know it is I hard. I have smoked for over 20 us and last December decided to stop after years of couphing. Since I did not want to trade one habit for another, eating more. I have been using the electric ifs and love them. I noticed I smoke more while driving, talking on the phone and on the computer and with the E-cigs I have something in my hand even if I am not using it. Plus we stopped smoking in the house and sometimes I want a cig but not wanting to go out in the cold is stronger lol. I wish ou much luck. It is hard but you can do it emoticon

not to eat any unplanned snacks
I quit smoking July 22nd and I have been having trouble not eating extra food at bedtime for example a peanut butter sandwich.

Hello have not been here foe a few day hope everyone is doing well. Last week I posted that I was havi g a hard time doing my workouts be ause of knee pain. I had to slow way down on my aerobics and my mile walk has gotten really painful. But last week my hubby got mr a excersice bike at a yard sale for 25$ the price was so low just because the lady didn't know how to work the digital panel but it works great and I can go at my own pace. Not se to being on a bike so really not ure to my bottom hurting lol. But I m getting better I think. I finally got a appt. with my knee surgeon hoping he will see I am really sticking to my workouts since the last several times I saw him he has told me so ny times to loise weight but I never really did anything before so I am hoping I can get him o see I am trying very hard and to keep going I need a new knee brace. My primar doc gave me a cheap one a month ago and already it is ripping. But I am really worryed about the swelling and luid on my left knee so I am hoping he will do a scope and a new brace then I can continue my workouts in less pain. I switched my nite walks to am and have gotten up at 7 am every am this week and walked around our county fair looking at the animals. But today I am going this afternoon with my BFF. We have been BF for over 25 yrs now and haven't seen her for a while. I am skipping my am walk to rest up my knee so I can walk around with my friend today.
That is my goal today. To at least walk 1 1/2 mile today at the fair. What is your goal for today?
