The other day when I had my hubby pick me up at the end of my walking trail, it started at the park and went along a very nice but short path through the woods. MY dogs love it though. The trail stops at a parking lot when I had my hubby pick me up at. while we were driving back up the hill that leads back to the front of the park I thought by the end of next month I will walk the trail through the park and instead of being picked up at the end I would up the hill and back around to the park. But yesterday I thought I would try and see how far I could get. I was thinking it would be at least 2 mile walk with a quarter of it up hill. So me and my dog sissy started atthe park, walked the path to the back parking lot and started up the hill. My hubby was dropping off our son and would drive back to pick me up at what ever part of the hill I was on. But Sisy and I did it. It took us 9 minutes to get up the hill and back to the park.!!! I was so excited I had walked up that hill and then looked at my pedometer and it was just a few steps more than a mile. And we did it in 23 minutes, We were back at the park and walked the length of the park 3 times before my hubby got back to us.
We conquered the hill but I really feel it today. My back is hurting pretty bad this am even after I did my am resistance bands stretches but it is a good pain I suppose. So I thought my lesson for the day was If there isnt already a Path make your own!!
